We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for a limited number of scholarships for public school-based educators. These scholarships are specifically intended for educators who do not have access to funding from their school or district for an introductory course. Priority consideration will be given to those who serve in underserved communities.

Each year, The Writing Revolution seeks donor support to fund a select number of these scholarships. Awards are based on the availability of donor funding, as well as the specific needs of applicants and their students.

If chosen for this opportunity in the Abrahamson Scholars Program, scholars are expected to:

• Complete Advancing Thinking Through Writing before August 31. 
• Attend two 1 hour virtual Abrahasom Scholars meetings throughout the year:
  • August 6, 2025 at 12:30pm ET
  • November 6, 2025 at 3:30pm ET
• Submit student writing samples using our Beginning of the Year & End of the Year Assessments.

Application for the 2025 – 2026 Abrahamson Scholarship program will close at 11:59pm ET on February 28, 2025.
